Songwei Zhang (S’21)(zhangsongwei@ieee.org) received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in software engineering from Dalian University of Technology (DUT), Dalian, China, in 2018 and 2021, and the Ph.D. degree from the College of Intelligence and Computing, Tianjin University (TJU), Tianjin, China, in 2025. He was an Exchange Student with the National Institute of Informatics (NII), Tokyo, Japan, from 2023 to 2024, where CSC fully supported the scholarship. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, Shenyang, China. He has co-authored 1 Springer Book, and published over 10 scientific papers in international journals and conference proceedings, such as IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (ToN), IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Network, IEEE Wireless Communications, ICC, and CSCWD. He has served as the organizing committee member and the program committee (PC) member for three important international conferences and a reviewer for eight prestigious journals, including IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (ToN), and IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering (TNSE). His research interests include Internet of Things, complex network, topology robustness optimization, and quantum computing. He has won several awards, such as the National Scholarship, and the Outstanding Graduate in Liaoning Province.
